Yondr Group, a leading developer, owner and operator of hyperscale data centers, has completed the first ready for service (RFS) milestone of its second 48MW data center in Loudoun County, Northern Virginia.  

Part of Yondr’s 96MW hyperscale campus and developed in partnership with JK Land Holdings, LLC (JKLH), the project is a central element of Yondr’s strategy for delivering critical cloud capacity as demand for data continues to rise around the world, aligned to increased adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). Yondr has completed the first 12MW of the new data center’s 48MW capacity, with the asset due to become fully operational in 2026.  

Yondr completed its first 48MW data center at the company’s 96MW Northern Virginia campus just one year ago and has a further 240MW of capacity in the pipeline for an adjacent land parcel, which will bring the total capacity of the campus to 336MW. 

Northern Virginia is one of the world’s most important data center industry hubs, accounting for almost 60% of the primary data center inventory in the USA and hosting more than 30 million ft2 of data center space. Yondr’s investment in Loudoun County reflects the company’s strategy for growth in the North American region, with a 27MW project currently on site in Toronto, and a 163-acre site secured in Lancaster, just south of Dallas, where the company intends to develop a 550MW hyperscale campus.
