Thank you for your August 3, 2026 directive to the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) to establish clear guidance related to data center projects in Texas. Yondr is actively developing data centers in the Lone Star State and is committed to continuing its growth and community engagement to ensure our developments benefit both Texas residents and the business community.

Our company and all Yondr employees support the initiatives outlined in the directive and support developments that comply with Texas standards. Responsible data center developers like Yondr should strengthen the Texas economy and electric grid without shifting infrastructure costs to residential customers or compromising local water resources.

Yondr is a firm believer in transparent cost-allocation frameworks ensuring that data centers are responsible for infrastructure attributable to our projects. Additionally, Yondr understands the mandate to balance economic growth with consumer interests and ensure long term sustainability of the electric grid.

Our project in Lancaster, which is currently in ERCOT’s Batch Zero process, has undergone extensive review and scrutiny. Yondr has exhibited a high level of commitment to regulations and compliance with Oncor, ERCOT and PUCT requests, significant capital investment, and extensive community partnership. We look forward to moving this development forward in compliance with the visions of the directive.

Additionally, Yondr is establishing its US headquarters in Dallas, from which it will pursue its data center developments in Texas and across various locations in the United States. Yondr selected the City of Dallas and the State of Texas because of its unique combination of energy flexibility, infrastructure maturity, business climate, and strategic location.

We agree with your directive on the future of responsible data center development and we want to help Texas develop the rules for getting there. We look forward to working with Texas stakeholders to provide predictable rules, objective standards and reasonable interconnection timelines.
