Yondr is a developer, owner operator and service provider of hyperscale data centers. Our mission is to meet growing businesses' data center capacity and technical real estate needs faster, more elegantly and with better performance outcomes than anyone else. As an organisation, we self-fund, design, deliver and operate hyperscale data center facilities globally.
The role
This role will ultimately provide support to the wider People team by rotating around the People departments, whilst also developing your own HR knowledge via an apprenticeship course.
Some of your main responsibilities
- Execution of new hire onboarding process, including starter paperwork, Identification document checking
- Initiation background screenings
- Execution of off-boarding administrative processes such as updating of the People system and issuing final leaving letter
- Auditing the People Information System and ensuring accurate data is kept
- People reporting – adhoc reports for management
- Creation of all contracts/offers for employees
- Basic administration tasks, e.g. creating probation confirmation letters, salary increase letters, contract changes letters
- Taking meeting minutes where appropriate
- Replying to employee queries in a timely manner
- Assisting in project work
- Ad hoc support to various people departments
Qualifications and experience
- Experience
- English and Maths GCSEs at Grade C (4) and above and a total of 5 GCSEs
- 3 A-Level predicted grades level C and above
- Skills and Competencies
- High level of communication skills both verbal and written
- Proactive individual
- G-suite knowledge (desirable, not essential)
- Strong enthusiasm for future in HR
- Positive “can do” attitude and strong team player
