Generator testing schedule updated to reduce impact on our neighbors

We have updated our schedule for routine generator testing at our campus, ensuring all tests are carried out between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. to minimize disruption for nearby residents.

  • Generator testing is essential to ensure backup systems work reliably during power outages or emergencies

  • It is carried out once per month and typically takes less than one hour

  • Due to air quality regulations, testing cannot take place during the day between May and October. Within the permitted window (5:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.), we have chosen early evening testing to limit late-night impact

  • The revised schedule means no testing will take place later at night, when residents are more likely to be sleeping. This approach reflects the feedback we’ve heard from our community and our commitment to reducing disruption wherever possible

* No activities are currently planned that are likely to cause a major disruption to the community. We will continue to update you on any and all potential disturbance that may affect the community. Initial blasting activities concluded on May 29th, 2026.
