Yondr is a developer, owner operator and service provider of hyperscale data centers. Our mission is to meet growing businesses' data center capacity and technical real estate needs faster, more elegantly and with better performance outcomes than anyone else. As an organisation, we self-fund, design, deliver and operate hyperscale data center facilities globally.

The role

Yondr continues to evolve its ESG and Sustainability strategies to fit its
growing portfolio of global operations and the lifecycle of its business
activities. This role will provide support to the Director of Sustainability and
the business as a whole in developing and implementing our strategy, goals
and response to the critical issues of embedding sustainability into everything
we do.

The role requires an ability to work cross functionally in order that we embed
sustainability into our processes and way of thinking. This will include how we
partner with our clients in developing offering capacity solutions, build with the
future in mind via our design, engineering and operational teams and procure
responsibly in our supply chain.

Some travel will be expected to out datacenter developments and Yondr
offices across the regions, primarily Amsterdam, London, San Francisco and
Singapore with datacenter locations in Europe, Asia and America’s.


Main responsibilities

  • Developing and managing Yondr’s Corporate and public reporting related to sustainability.
  • Responding to and understanding the needs of investors.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring our strategies.
  • Communicating sustainability across the business, objectives and plans to engage and promote cross functional thinking around sustainability
  • Formulating budgets
  • Liaising cross-functionally to implement and deliver sustainable solutions and objectives.
  • ESG governance activities - scrutiny and communication of conformance with sustainability related obligations including regulations, client requirements and Yondr commitments.
  • Manage subject matter expertise and project delivery internally and externally including formulating budgets and managing relevant projects with external support.


Qualifications and experience

  • 8 - 12 years of experience in the fields of ESG/Sustainability is a must ideally with some background in datacenters and/or the wider Tech sector.
  • Solid understanding of the current and future international compliance drivers.
  • Ability to establish credibility and work cross functionally with key internal stakeholders to get things done, for example Design and Engineering teams
  • High degree of organization and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to curate your existing knowledge and experience to our business, identifying issues and being research smart and effective in developing solutions.
  • Creative thinker and ability to innovate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience of working in an international environment
  • Experience of datacenter operations will be of value but is not a prerequisite
