The role

A very exciting opportunity for an Asset Manager within the business working closely with the Finance teams at a Global level. 


Main responsibilities

  • Define performance objectives & OKR’s for the Asset Management department
  • Accountable for the performance/success of the Asset Management team
  • Directing and positively influencing stakeholders in their occupation and management of the portfolio, ensuring compliance and best practice whilst seeking to maximise returns and drive efficiencies
  • Leading, developing and strategically managing a high performing portfolio, implementing asset management strategies that grow revenue, improve profitability and embrace modern ways of working and process management, ensuring that delivery is aligned to business plans
  • Monitoring and maintaining all ongoing and future debt requirements (post-close) including (interest payment dates, valuations, etc...).
  • Ensuring contractual income is received on time by managing billing instructions and overseeing any related dispute management
  • Undertake professional Landlord and Tenant functions ensuring that functions are concluded positively on time in line with lease agreements 
  • Commission, assess and review formal valuations
  • Overseeing minor works projects and tenant fit outs
  • Managing the re-tendering of contracts where appropriate
  • Developing influential and service-led relationships with internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Support the investment team in the asset acquisitions process, including underwriting and technical/impact due diligence by identifying asset specific impact initiatives
  • The ability to set out a clear strategy to develop and build out the real estate investment portfolio. 
  • Tracking investment performance
  • Have an active involvement in the day to day operations of the firm
  • Team workstreams from start to finish across the full investment process.
  • Coach, develop and mentor the Asset Management team in their career development.

Qualifications and experience

  • Expert knowledge of commercial real estate markets
  • Flexible & dynamic - self-motivated, results driven, ability to deal with change
  • Highly organised and structured, logical and lateral thinker
  • Team player, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and add value
  • Financial acumen - the capacity to demonstrate knowledge of and insight into financial principles and processes and identify inconsistencies in data
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively: strong project/process management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
